South Molton Vintage Rally 2009

We all linked up as usual just outside Barnstaple and travelled in procession the 10 miles or so to South Molton Vintage Rally Rally Club's show ground off the old A361 just past South Molton. On the Saturday Glenn took his Spitfire 1500, John took the Herald, Joan took the MG, Sharon and Edith came in the Mini, Steve W and Callum came in Steve's GT6 and Peter brought his Roadster. Dave Pateman meet us their in his Triumph 2000 along with Dave's Brother In Law in his lovely Triumph Stag. Much to our pleasure, Chris Glover joined us in his Jaguar D-Type replica which we all took turns in sitting in the driver's seat!

On the Sunday it was the same but Chris Wilkinson joined us in his Spitfire Mk3, Glenn brought Trish in his Spitfire and Chris Glover brought his glorious E-Type and gave Edith a ride around the ring much to her delight.

The weather was even better than last year and may next year be even better.
