We met together at the usual laybay, Sharon and Steve W in Sharon's Triumph Spitfire MkIV, John and Joan in the Herald, Glenn and Trish in Glenn's Triumph Spitfire 1500 and Peter Clarke in Joan's Triumph Toledo. A nice drive up via Black Cat to West Somerset Railway's show ground where we joined the TSSC Somerset Area's stand. The rain lasted until the afternoon when the sun came out to our great pleasure. Better weather was had on the Sunday when John, Joan, Glenn and Trish returned and the field was packed out with cars. Thanks very much to the Somerset Area for being such great hosts! |
