North Devon Sports and Classic Car Club Lynmouth Show 2008

Our numbers were small with friends missing due to holidays and other arrangements, but 3 cars started from Ilfracombe; Joan (Toledo), John (Herald) & Derek(Gentry). We went via 'Friendship' across the 'moor to Simonsbath for coffee!! With friends on board, we did the last leg up over the peak and dropped down to Watersmeet and Lynmouth. Fabulous scenery and perfect weather. The event was on the 'Green', east of the river. We met up with Glenn (Spitfire) & Peter (Roadster) who had done a longer run with the North Devon Sports & Classic Car Club from Barnstaple. Great line-up and Lymouth was at it's best. We had lunch in 'The Rock' nearby. Our gang were the last to leave for a perfect run home, NOT up Lynton Hill but back up Watersmeet and Beggers Roost. Just 53 miles from Ilfracombe return for a great day after the diappointment of Powderham last week!
