Classic cars lined the Quay of Bideford on Sunday for the town's annual Transport Rally. Forty-five car enthusiasts showed off their pride and joy despite the heavy rain.
Rolls Royces, sports cars and even a 1950s two-wheeler Messerschmidt were on display.
The event organised by the North Devon Sports and Classic Car Club bought more than 1,000 visitors to the Quay.
Among the crowds was Ted Cole, 84, the oldest member of the club and Wilf Braund who celebrated his 94th birthday at the rally.
Club event organiser, Mike Nicholls, said: "Ted and Wilf being at the event shows that a passion for cars never fades.
"We had people from all over the country come and look at the vehicles. Many were people who wouldn't normally go to these sorts of events, but because it is in such a convenient location they thought they would come and have a look."
The club's next display will take place on the afternoon of July 13 at Lynmouth.
